NADIM E. SALTI, CPA brings over twenty years of accounting experience to the practice he founded in 1989, specializing in accounting services for small businesses and non-profit organizations. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Nadim earned a Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut in 1976, and a Masters Degree in Administration from the University of Dallas in 1979. After working as an auditor in the Middle East with Touche Ross International overseas, he moved to Washington, D.C. in 1985 where he earned a Masters Certificate in Accounting from American University in 1986, and became certified public accountant. Over the past two decades, Nadim worked directly with start-up non-profit organizations providing accounting and financial systems to enable them to grow. On an ongoing basis, he provides training to the internal accounting staff and assisted the staff to grow in order to assume the operational duties of the accounting department. In his capacity as an outside controller he implements financial regulations and the growing complexity of taxes, internal controls and accounting information systems. He also provides analysis of company’s structure and activities, and advising on the tax ramifications and business decisions. As an active consultant, Nadim helps organizations in areas such as compensation, employment benefits, data processing systems and asset protection, and has frequently participated in a small business and non-profit organizations’ strategic planning and restructuring, budget development, fraud prevention, contract negotiation, and tax preparation and filling.
NEVENA ARIZANOVIC, an executive associate at Salti & Associates, LLC began working in 2013. Nevena comes to us from the Metropolitan Opera Guild where she served as Manager of Urban Voices: A Choral Music Initiative and the Mannes Partnership Programs for twelve years. She also has experience as an operation director from having worked at Herbert Barrett Management where she served as a primary contact for all servicing issues related to 110 artists in the United States and overseas. Ms. Arizanovic has extensive experience in recruiting and working with artists, which includes contracting, salary and benefits administration, as well as developing and managing Music Institutes and Professional Development programs. A native of Serbia, Nevena came to the United States over twenty years ago to study music and has attended Interlochen Arts School. She received a Bachelor of Musical Arts from DePauw University. She has enjoyed a varied career as non-profit organization administrator, choir conductor and music teaching artist.
